Finance and Technology Clerk

The Greater Houston Church seeks to hire a part-time Finance and Technology Clerk. The church is looking for a detailed oriented person who is technology savvy. The clerk will be responsible for financial data entry, including revenue entry, accounts payable processing, and other financial reporting functions. The position will help maintain and improve church technology tools, including the online administrative forms, the church management software, the church website, the church app, and other functions as needed. The position will report directly to the CFO.

 

Part-time hours will need to fall within the typical Mon-Fri office hours but will be negotiable on specific work hours. The position offers remote work in a paperless work environment.

 

The position requires comfortability with financial concepts and technology tools. One should be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel. Formal training in accounting or experience in accounts payable is a plus but not required. Experience creating online forms, managing databases, or website management is a plus but not required.
