SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21:

 

8:30 AM - Marriage Retreat Registration opens

    Lobby outside of Greenbriar Ballroom (coffee will be available)

 

CLASS 1 

 

10:00 AM: “Still I Do:  Communicating the Promise We Made”

 

Description:  Marriage begins with a vow, but everyday conversations sustain it. This session invites couples to reconnect with the why behind their “I do,” explore how we’re wired differently, and learn practical ways to communicate as teammates rather than opponents. We’ll also touch on neurodiversity and how empathy, patience, and curiosity can deepen connection.

11:30 AM - “Sacred Intimacy:  Growing Closer Through Every Season”

 

Description:  Intimacy is more than just sex—it’s active listening, safety, vulnerability, and joy.  This session explores how sexual connection evolves, how emotional wounds and trauma can impact intimacy, and how couples can pursue closeness with grace, wisdom, and mutual care through every season of life.

12:15 PM - “Better Through the Years:  Wisdom from Every Season of Marriage”

 

Description:  Real marriages.  Real seasons.  Real grace.  This will be a panel that shares lessons learned, mistakes made, and what has helped them stay connected through changing seasons of life, faith, family, and culture.

3:00 PM - “When Love Feels Tired:  Finding Help, Hope, and Healing” 

 

Description:  Even strong marriages can feel exhausted.  No need to be embarrassed.  This optional session creates a safe space to talk about burnout, discouragement, entering a new space, and emotional fatigue — and how to seek help early, wisely, and without shame.

Description: Our marriages are not just for us - they’re a witness to the world.  This session explores how healthy marriages strengthen the church, bless our communities, and reflect Christ’s love to a watching world.
